Zwieback Rolls

Ingredients
- 3 cups Milk (Scalded)
- ¾ cup Lard
- 1 Cake Yeast
- ½ cup Sugar
- 2 tbsp Salt
- Flour (Quantity not specified in original recipe)
Instructions
- Mix well until dough is slightly softer than Bread dough.
- Let rise until doubled in bulk.
- Form dough into small balls the size of a Walnut.
- Place these balls on top of a slightly larger one.
- Let rise for 1 hour.
- Bake at 420℉ for 20-25 minutes.
Notes
May be served fresh, but to store, cut Rolls in half and place in oven till dry.Â
