Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Milk (Scalded)
  • ¾ cup Lard
  • 1 Cake Yeast
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Salt
  • Flour (Quantity not specified in original recipe)

Instructions
 

  • Mix well until dough is slightly softer than Bread dough.
  • Let rise until doubled in bulk.
  • Form dough into small balls the size of a Walnut.
  • Place these balls on top of a slightly larger one.
  • Let rise for 1 hour.
  • Bake at 420℉ for 20-25 minutes.

Notes

May be served fresh, but to store, cut Rolls in half and place in oven till dry.Â
